Aluminium 2 piece Glazing Bar
- Suitable for joining flat sheet Acrylic or Polycarbonate
- Bottom piece is fixed to the rafter, top piece clips down to hold sheet in place
- Will work with both 6MM & 8MM
- Not structural, must be fixed to an existing rafter
- Can use on timber or aluminium box section
- Includes all rubber seals
- Includes single aluminium end cap
- Total width across is 50MM with a height of 19MM once top piece is clicked down fully
Glazing Bar Gains:
Centre Glazing Bar: 26mm per joiner/13mm per side. (This allows 4mm expansion for the sheet down each side of the joiner).
End Glazing Bar: 37mm from outside edge to first sheet (This allows 4mm expansion gap)

Storage & Cleaning
Storage information
Twinwall – It is very important that you keep the flutes dry. Please make sure that you keep your twinwall in a covered area away from water (moisture) and dust until installed correctly
Acrylic – Please keep the acrylic in a dry area as the sheet comes with a paper masking which is very hard to remove if wet.
Custom Glaze – Do not leave your sheet out in the sun as the protection cover can bake into the sheet. Keep undercover until installed.
Cleaning information
To keep your Polycarbonate and Acrylic roofing clean, we recommend cleaning it regularly using warm soapy water and a soft sponge, we do not recommend water blasting or using any other harsh cleaning chemicals as it can break down the protective U.V layer on Polycarbonate sheeting, these cleaners can also contain chemicals that are harmful to PMMA (Acrylic)
