Environmental considerations for your site
Where you're growing matters as much as what you're growing. In coastal or exposed sites, Topglass Gelcoat fibreglass holds up particularly well, since it's built to resist the corrosive effects of salt air without the yellowing or degradation that affects lower-grade GRP sheeting. In high-wind areas, Laserlite Twinwall is a strong choice, backed by its impact resistance and thermal stability across a wide temperature range. If your site gets sharp overnight temperature drops, Twinwall's insulating air gap helps buffer plants against frost compared to a single-layer sheet. For sheltered, low-wind sites where appearance and light quality matter more than raw durability, acrylic sheeting is a good fit without needing to over-engineer for conditions you won't face.
